GlossyBox February 2015 Review – Love Edition

With Valentines Day fast approaching, Glossy themed this month’s box on love.  With a selection of undiscovered brands I would have to say that Glossy is well and truly back on it’s way to redeeming itself after the miserable boxes from 2014.

All items this month were full size which is good to see as it provides value for money.

The box’s outer design is similar to Andy Warhol’s Love letters, which makes a change from the pastel pink.  A description card is included detailing the products which are…

Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor – £9.99

The five curve sensing blades provides incredible closeness which is then teamed up with moisturising serum bars which leave the skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated.  They are infused with marine extracts and shea butter which smells devine.

Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Balm – $14

This quirky brand from Los Angeles has found its way over to the UK thanks to Glossy! Inspired by an old apothecary manual, it’s now a celebrity favourite with the likes of Victoria Beckham.  The shade that I received looks darker than it goes on, instead leaving lips looking refreshed with a coral tint.  Infused with argan oil and grape seed oil to deeply hydrate whilst the sweet almond oil and shea butter will smooth, leaving lips kissable soft. Love the little pot, very unique.

So Susan Rose Quartet for lips and Cheek – £8

This cute palette is made up of 4 creams which can be used on both the lips of cheeks to give a colourful tint.  The creams have a rose complex of rose, cabbage rose, evening primrose, rose geranium and rosehip extracts.  A very unique blend of ingredients which contains no sulphates and is fragrance free.

B Cosmetics A11 Waterproof Mascara – £9.99

This mascara is said to lengthen, define and volumise lashes whilst also conditioning them.  Sounds like a winner right??

Marsk Mineral Eye Shadow – £14.49

Keeping inline with love, the colour palette for these eyeshadows are based on the film “Fifty Shades of Grey”. In fact this one is called “Fifty Shades”.  A upcoming brand from Sydney, Australia, this mineral based product is 100% natural and highly pigmented so you can easily make a bold statement!

Let’s just hope that this has a better reputation and reviews than the book/film (which was rather dull and boring)

And of course, it wouldn’t be Valentines Day without Love Hearts!! My favourites (:
