First up, Happy Valentine’s Weekend to you all!!
I popped into Primark yesterday to pick up a few essentials, like tights, cotton wool (only £1.50 for two packs! Bargain!!) and the classic £2 vests for extra layering over the Winter months. I instead ended up spending A LOT more than I anticipated and came out with a bag packed full to the top with cool purchases. On the plus side, I did remember to pick up what I went in for (:
Guaranteed you can always find some one-off/limited edition design that moves away from the “mass production, you see everyone wearing it” garments. I was pleasantly surprised with my purchases.
Multi Coloured Trophy Jacket – £19
I instantly fell in love with this jacket. It has woven multi coloured threads through it to give it that added pop of wow factor. It’s quite thick and tailored, giving it a look of sophistication and quality. Trophy jackets are my favourite staple piece and this one reminds me of something I once saw at Chanel. Very classy!
Sequined Bolero Jacket – £23 reduced to £5
This is an absolute steal at £5! My lunch costs more than this. It’s made from a chiffon material and has sequin and beading all over including the back. This will easily dress up a casual look taking it from day until night.
Black Stripped Top – £10
I was drawn to this as I liked the drop shoulders. It is actually very flattering when it is on. The thick material makes it look expensive and looks ace teamed up with a blazer, jeans and some heels. It has a zip partially down the back which adds to it’s cuteness.
Navy Striped Top – £12
Another stripped top I hear you cry! Navy is my favourite colour so I couldn’t say no to this one. Again it’s made with a thicker cotton and is very flattering once on. The garment can be machine washed which is a bonus as you want to avoid anything which may shrink.
Selection of Nightware
Batman T Shirt – £5
Batman Leggings – £5 reduced from £8
My Little Pony Set – £5 reduced from £10
Bunny Jumper – £7
I absolutely love the themed pyjamas in Primark. They always have something new which doesn’t fall under their brand. The pyjama leggings are my favourite and I have so many ranging from Paul Frank to Disney characters. Super comfy and not restricting, which is exactly what you want when you’re sleeping or lounging around. The jumper is a thinner cotton with lots of movement. During the Winter, my apartment can get rather cold and I hate sleeping with the heating on. So this gives added warmth and cosiness. I also love My Little Pony (have done since I was a child) and these will be ace in the Summer.
All items were purchased in the Westfield Stratford City, London store.
