Elemis – The Beautifully Unique Collection Review

Happy Monday!!

Elemis have launched their Beautifully Unique Collection to celebrate 10 years of feelunique.com, a website where you can almost guarantee to find products cheaper than anywhere else.  This collection features five of Elemis’s bestsellers and has a value of £73.  However, you can currently get your hands on the set for £43.  The set contains products that work together leaving you with flawless, fully refreshed and radiant skin.  I am a huge Elemis fan and although their products sit within the upper end price range, you are definitely paying for luxurious products that deliver the intended results.

The set includes:

Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser 30ml

This Cleanser is a new generation anti-ageing cream cleanser which deeply moisturises to reveal a youthful complexion.  It contains active fragrances of Sweet Brazilian Orange, Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli.  Essential plant extracts purify the skin whilst Moringa Seed Peptide defends against daily pollutants. Great Burdock helps to balance the skin whilst Noni and Assai Fruit are known for their high levels of anti-oxidants.

It smells delicious and is a powerful cleanser removing all traces of make up.  It left my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated.

Papaya Enzyme Peel 15ml

After I’ve washed my face, I then use this enzyme peel which is essentially an exfoliator.  The natural exfoliating fruit enzyme action of Papaya and Pineapple smooth, brighten and clarify the complexion. It smells amazing!! It’s a unique, non-granular exfoliating cream and contains nourishing Milk Protein, Anti-Oxidant-rich Vitamin E and Marine algae to moisturise, repair and protect the skin. This is hands down one of my favourite Elemis products and last year was one of Harpers Bazaar’s Hot 100 Winners.

Balancing Lavender Toner 50ml
After cleansing and exfoliating, it is important to tone to close and ultimately minimise pores.  This toner contains Alpine Lavender which helps maintain the skin’s natural pH balance, whilst effectively clarifying the complexion without the use of alcohol for harsh detergents. It has an incredibly fresh scent and is non greasy.  It dries into the skin within seconds and is very light and refreshing.

Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules 14 Capsules

Until I purchased this set, I had never tried these capsules.  For 60, they retail around £65 so this was a good way of trying them before splurging.  They contain a serum which is formulated with a high concentration of Anti-Oxidant power, naturally found in Moringa Oil from the Tanzanian ‘Miracle Tree’.  Through continued use, these capsules will help repair the visible signs of ageing and conteract the damaging effects of pollution.  Now that I live in the city, I am even more conscious of the damaging effects of pollution as I tend to find that plus air conditioning dries my skin and leaves it looking rather dull.  These capsules have helped a lot! I feel as though my skin is softer and more radiant looking.  Although they look small, one capsule is enough to cover the whole face.

Hydra-Boost Day Cream 50ml

Finally, the last step is to apply a moisturiser.  This day cream is incredibly light and non greasy.  It’s the perfect make up base and has a light subtly fresh scent.  It contains hyaluronic acid, marsh samphire extract and starflower oil which strengthens the skins natural moisture barrier and intensely hydrates dry skin. Organic myrtle and vitamin E help to protect skin from damaging free radicals.  If you want incredibly soft skin, this is the moisturiser for you.

Have you tried any of the Elemis skincare range?  If you have, what’s your favourite products and were there any which you weren’t a fan of.  I’d love to hear your comments!

Take Care
