Hope you’ve all had a fabulous weekend. Can you believe it’s less than a week until Christmas!! How very exciting. I actually can’t wait because it means I’ll be back home spending quality time with my family in Scotland.
Over the weekend I nipped into Lush to grab a few Christmasy treats because as we all know, the Christmas selection is THE best. I like to keep my bathroom stocked up with bath bombs as when you open the door, it’s the gorgeous Lush scent that hits you.
Here’s what I purchased:
I could not resist stocking up on Snow Fairy. It’s my all time favourite Lush item as the scent is just delicious. It smells like candy floss mixed with bubble gum. It’s bright pink with glittery bits. It lathers well leaving your skin feeling super clean and moisturised. This year there’s an extra size on offer… 1kg for £21.50. So now there are 4 sizes – 100g, 250g, 500g and 1kg. I always opt for the 500g which lasts for about 2 months.
Next I picked up a Luxury Lush Pud as the colours are simply gorgeous. This Christmas pudding bath bomb is scented with tonka absolute and lavender which will destress you and leaving you feeling all cosy and ready for bed. When the bomb starts to dissolve in the bath, you are left with a kaleidoscope myriad of colour. It also contains ylang ylang oil which moisturises the skin leaving your skin feeling incredibly hydrated and silky smooth.
I also chose the Sakura bath bomb which is speckled with colour however unfortunately it creates a milky colour in the bath which was rather disappointing. However the scent is lovely and floral. Inspired by the cherry blossom in Japan, this bomb contains calming mimosa, jasmine oil, lemon oil and orange flower. Although this bomb is available all year round, I like the citrus orangey scent.
Then finally for the ultimate Christmas bubbly bath, I picked up the Santasaurus reusable bubble bar. This is so cute and you can use it quite a few times creating bubble baths each time. It smells fruity as it contains Brazilian orange oil and bergamot oil. This one turns your bath a Christmassy green and is very pleasant to relax in.
Which Lush items have you been purchasing lately and is there any that you would, or would not recommend? Pop a comment down below as I’d love to hear your views.
